Cuban Salsa Festival: Havana to the beat of timba
Every year, Havana fills with music, dance and Caribbean energy with the Cuban Salsa Festival, one of the most vibrant events in the country. For several days, the capital's stages bring together the most renowned orchestras and thousands of salseros from all over the world who come to enjoy the authentic sound of the island.
Since its creation in 2016, under the direction of musician Maykel Blanco, the festival has become a great celebration of Cuban popular music. Legendary bands such as Los Van Van, Havana D'Primera or Adalberto Álvarez y su Son make the audience vibrate with concerts full of flavour, improvisation and pure local talent.

- Friday 27 February - Papucho y Manana Club, Yasser Ramos y su Tumbao Mayombe, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco, Los Van Van.
- Saturday 28 February - Juan Guillermo y Orquesta, Adalberto Álvarez y su Son, Willy García (international artist), Alain Pérez y Orquesta, Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor.
- Sunday 1 March - Iván “El Hijo de Teresa” y La Llegada, Haila Mompié (guest artist), Alexander Abreu y Havana D'Primera, Elito Revé y su Charangón.
