Frequently asked questions
Yes, in fact many people travel alone. Dance Travelling trips are designed so that anyone who likes to travel and dance can sign up alone. During the trip you will meet other travellers who share the same passion as you, and from the first day a very close atmosphere is created among the group. As for the classes, many are individual and do not require a partner. In the partner classes there is usually a rotation, and in some cases we also have local teachers or dancers who accompany the group so that everyone has a partner to dance with.
We travel in small groups of maximum 15 people to create a close, authentic experience with a real connection between participants.
Classes are taught by local or guest teachers and are designed so that you can learn the style of dance in its place of origin. Depending on the destination, they may include salsa, bachata, traditional rhythms or local dances.
Not necessarily. Some trips are designed for people who already dance and want to deepen their knowledge of a particular style, while others are also open to those who want to discover new rhythms. In any case, we always indicate the recommended level or if the classes are open to all levels in the information of each trip.
Our classes are always 2 hours long, so that you can go deeper into the content. All trips include an intensive dance course for you to learn or improve your dance level, with local and international teachers.
On some trips a teacher accompanies the group for all or part of the trip, in addition to the coordinator. In other cases, the classes are given by different local teachers depending on where we are. You can find this information in the details of each trip.
Dance Travelling does not include flights in our trips in order to give more flexibility to our travellers so that they can travel from wherever they want or on the dates they want.
However, if you prefer, we can assist you with the purchase of flights for a small handling fee.
In any case, we recommend buying flights as soon as the trip has been confirmed, we will inform you by e-mail when this happens.
Sharing a room is part of the Dance Travelling experience, as it allows you to get to know other travellers who are as passionate about dance as you are. However, if you prefer not to share a room, you can request a single room for a supplement.
